History

Our director Mr.Suraj Khosla who was a part of leading industrial House in India since 1974 and was catering to the growing demands of Indian industry for high quality industrial Machine Knives, saws & tools, started Khosla Tools and Equipment.
In the first year of inception itself, Khosla tool became a profit-making dynamic industrial tool company with a highly motivated sales team, skilled customer support engineers, plant engineers and coupled with 20 year industrial tool manufacturing experience of our Directors khosla tools became the market Leader for these products.

Khosla Tools today is an aggressive industrial tool manufacturing company with over 50 employees nationwide and exports to 10 countries worldwide. Khosla Tools employs highly skilled engineers who analyze customer applications and recommand and or develop specialized tooling for them in addition to being the largest supplier of knives, Blades & saws to the Paper, Steel, Rubber, Wire & Cable, Plastics & woodworking industries of India.

Company Infrastructure

We have a fully equipped plant with the most modern machinery required to manufacture Industrial blades with utmost accuracy and precision. We have surface grinders having a capacity to grind up to 4 meters in length and 700mm in width. We have state of art CNC Lathe to grind finish Circular top and bottom knives with utmost accuracy. In general our workshop consist of all the latest machine required such as Surface Grinders, Lathes,Shaper, Planner, Milling, Tool Grinder, Cylindrical Grinding Machines, edge grinder etc.

Sourcing of Raw Material Stock

Our sourcing of Raw Material is from the Bombay market for raw material such as HcHcr flats and rounds, En 31 Flats and Rounder, En 9 Flats used to make Beater Bars. Whereas the sourcing of Raw material for Chipper is mainly form import or reputed importer in case the order quantity is less.
Our Bombay office handles the entire process of procurement, as each and every length of steel is tested before dispatch from Bombay. We have maintained this practice, as we believe in delivering quality knives.
We stock all sort of raw material right form EN 31 grade of steel to Bohler make steel for speedy dispatch of finished goods enabling our customer to maintain a minimum inventory at his end. We have a complete stock of material in all section used for manufacturing of industrial Blades.

Heat Treatment facility

Heat treatment is the heart of a blade, if heat treatment is not proper a Blade will never give it desired performance. Keeping the same in Mind, we have installed a state of art Heat treatment Facility in our plant. We have a Salt Bath Furnace measuring 2000, 600, 400mm in size electronically controlled to maintain equal temperature through out the length of molten salt. We have muffle furnaces for per heating and tempering of Blades.
We have also tied up with a party for Cryogenic treatment of Knives.
